Sorkin Engineering Services PC (“SES”) is a consulting engineering firm primarily involved in the design and implementation of structural engineering systems for buildings and bridges, providing services to contractors, architects, and owners. SES takes pride in its dedication and prompt responsiveness to its clients, crucial in the current, fast-paced and evolving construction industry. Its principal engineer, Gary S. Sorkin, PE, provides cost-efficient, technical engineering and construction support/management services for infrastructure projects, commercial office buildings, and residential buildings across the tri-state area in the public and private sectors.
Gary S. Sorkin, PE is a licensed professional in
New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida and has been performing structural engineering services for buildings, bridges, and other structures for over 12 years.

The firm’s owner and principal engineer has extensive and diverse experience in civil, structural, and construction engineering. Along with his strong technical background, Gary S. SES possesses experience on the design and construction support sides of both permanent and temporary structures. SES takes the time to evaluate alternatives that result in design decisions which balance efficiency, construction cost, quality, life-cycle costs, long-term performance, and safety. When requested by the client, SES makes site visits before, during, and/or after construction to provide further on-the-ground support.
